Deja Vu Dreams

So a lot has happened since I last posted something on here. I’m terrible at updating, and I’m too lazy to write it all done, so I’m just going to make a list..

1.) Sheena quit Touchstone, leaving me in the department by myself trying to get the work of five people done on my own. Oh yeah fun times.

2.) Maria quit Touchstone, leaving my without any real friends. We still hang out and it wasn’t her fault she had to quit. Damn HR department.

3.) Mom got a job!! That’s really the big news. I’m soo happy that I will have some help now with the bills. Maybe I can get my car fixed (with Maria’s husbands help of course   )

4.) Amber will be living at home during this school year. She didn’t keep her grades up so she doesn’t have enough to cover the cost of a dorm room. An hour commute each way.. Good luck sis.

5.) Darcy is starting to behave like a dog. Maybe he’s spending too much time around Ziggy. He has grown so much he’s almost as big as Bella (my sis’s cat). Although she still doesn’t let him up on the table. That’s her spot.

6.) My brother’s 18th birthday was this month. It was hard on me, I cried a little at work. I can’t believe that he would have been an adult if he were still with us. Mom seemed okay on that day. I wasn’t here though so I don’t know for sure. Amber acted as if it was just another day. Maybe that’s how I should be.

7.) I’ve become a beta tester for Lord of the Rings Online. They are becoming a free MMORPG and are in the testing stages now. It’s pretty neat, but I’m used to playing on a paid account. Actually I’ve grown bored with it.

8.) I’m playing WoW again. Reread #1 if you want to know why.

9.) Have still made hardly any progess on my stories. As I said I’ve become lazy (maybe it’s the WoW). I try to work on it a little each day, but then life gets in the way. One day it will happen though.

10.) I don’t like having an odd number. Nothing really important here.

So that’s all the major news that’s gone on. Now you will never get back that few minutes of your life you just wasted on reading this. Let’s go outside and play catch!

They say no land remains to be discovered, no continent is left unexplored. But the whole world is out there, waiting, just waiting for me. I want to do things-I want to walk the rain-soaked streets of London, and drink mint tea in Casablanca. I want to wander the wastelands of the Gobi desert and see a yak. I think my life’s ambition is to see a yak. I want to bargain for trinkets in an Arab market in some distant, dusty land. There’s so much. But, most of all, I want to do things that will mean something.

Anna found yet another food item I have to wonder about. I mean who comes up with this stuff?

So after two days with little Darcy, I’ve fallen completely in love. I didn’t know it, but he has come at a time when I needed him most. I’m not sure why the people didn’t want him, or why they could hurt him, but he’s a happy, frisky, crazy little man. I’m try to get him to the vet tomorrow so that I can make sure he’s healthy. I promise to post pix as soon as I can get him to hold still.

On the family note- Amber and he dad went to Florida for the weekend. I’m starting to wonder what’s going on because she hasn’t called us or even answered a call from us. Both her and her dad ignore the calls. Hopefully she’ll be back today or tomorrow. I kinda miss the kid when she’s gone.

Mom handed me a 3 week old kitten last night. She saved it from someone who was going to either kill it or throw it out in the woods. After spending a couple minutes with the kitten, who I have named Darcy, I wanted to … well I didn’t have nice thoughts about those people.

I will upload pictures as soon as I make sure he’s eating and pooping normally. Poor little guy…
